Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının kitap okuma alışkanlıklarına yönelik tutumlarını belirleme ve bu tutumların cinsiyet, anabilim dalı, ebeveyn eğitim durumu, aile gelir düzeyi ve yaşanılan yer gibi faktörlere bağlı olarak değişip değişmediğini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 2024-2025 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde öğrenim gören, öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu grup, Sınıf Öğretmenliği, Türkçe Öğretmenliği, Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği, Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık, Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği, Özel Eğitim Öğretmenliği ve İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği bölümlerinden toplamda 136 öğretmen adayını kapsamaktadır. Betimsel bir araştırma olan bu çalışma, öğretmen adaylarının okuma alışkanlıklarını çeşitli değişkenler doğrultusunda incelemek amacıyla tarama modeli ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Susar-Kırmızı, F. (2012) tarafından geliştirilen, üç alt boyuttan oluşan ve 34 maddeden meydana gelen 5 dereceli Likert tipi "Öğretmen Adaylarının Kitap Okuma Alışkanlığına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the attitudes of prospective teachers towards book reading habits and to examine whether these attitudes change depending on factors such as gender, department, parental education status, family income level and place of residence. The sample of the research consists of students studying at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Education in the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. This group includes a total of 136 prospective teachers from the departments of Classroom Teaching, Turkish Language Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Science Teaching, Special Education Teaching and Primary School Mathematics Teaching. This descriptive study was conducted with the screening model in order to examine the reading habits of prospective teachers in accordance with various variables. In the research, the "Attitude Scale of Prospective Teachers Towards Book Reading Habits", which was developed by Susar-Kırmızı, F. (2012), consisting of three sub-dimensions and 34 items, was used.
